Within the framework of the XXI ESPARC congress held in Ronda, we have presented the LIFE RESQUE ALPYR project.

A total of 150 people responsible for the planning and management of natural parks, representatives of conservation organizations and environmental technician participated in these conferences. At the conference, the results of the LIFE LIMNOPIRINEUS project were shown and the new LIFE RESQUE ALPYR project was presented.

At the ESPARC 2022 congress “For living protected natural spaces”, the opportunities and challenges for nature conservation were analyzed in a context of rapid changes that must be faced with new perspectives. The workshops, which took place in different towns of Serra de les Neus, focused on key issues such as the new challenges of conservation in relation to rural abandonment, forest fires, adaptation to climate change, visitor management and the involvement of the local population in the benefits of protected areas.
