RESTORATION OF AQUATIC ECOSYSTEMS IN PROTECTED AREAS IN THE ALPS AND PYRENEES

The lake is located inside the SCI Gran Paradiso, a large protected area located between the Piemonte and Valle d’Aosta regions. Rapid trout eradication protocols will be applied to recover the lake ecosystems and species (Rana temporaria and aquatic invertebrates) and its connection with surrounding terrestrial habitats and species.
