It is situated in the SCI Alt Pallars, located in the central-eastern Pyrenees between the Aran Valley and the Principality of Andorra. In this lake we are applying mechanical experimental minnow eradication in a new ecological context of medium–large lakes. This action will extend the applicability of mechanical minnow eradications to a larger proportion of invaded lakes, with important conservation implications.
